How do I paint or varnish over clear epoxies such as Epiglass?

When Epiglass® and other clear epoxies cure they may blush a material to the surface that will cause uneven curing and possible detachment of coating applied to them. It is necessary to remove this blush to ensure proper cure and adhesion. The following systems have proved to be the best way of applying coatings to Epiglass epoxy. After applying Epiglass allow it to cure for a minimum of 3–5 days. Scrub Epiglass Epoxy with a stiff brush using soap and water. Rinse with fresh water to remove soap residue. (SANDING WILL NOT REMOVE SURFACE CONTAMINATION).
